Fremont Underground Soup Nights Are Back

Come celebrate the season and taste a little bit of Paris at Bouchee Creperie and Cafe on Wednesday December 17th from 6 to 9 pm. The French Musette Trio will play wonderful music that will transport you to the streets and cafes of Paris. Oui, oui c'est vraie! Je t'assure! To benefit B F Day Elementary programs for needy families and Guatemalan health and birthing clinics, Fremont Rotary is again hosting this series of "Underground Soup Nights." For just $10 you get a hearty soup and bread combination and a beverage. Half or all of the proceeds are donated to the Rotary programs by the hosting restaurant. Keep an eye out for the web site address coming up in January where you can get all the dates and times for this season's events. Then sign up and you will receive a notice each week of where the next event will take place. This is a by invitation only event so be sure to come to Bouchee on Wednesday the 17th and get on the mailing list. Last year's series won the regional community service award from Rotary and is back by popular demand. It's fun, very Fremont, and a place where you and your friends meet and enjoy a delicious meal while helping out the community here and in Guatemala. What better way to spend those dark days of winter than in the warm conviviality of a group of friends and neighbors enjoying community, good food and special entertainment. See you there!
