Free National Dance Week Events at Creative Fashions

Full Description:

Creative Fashions, a dance retail shop in Fremont, is converting their 600 sq. ft. shoe room into a beautiful dance space for National Dance Week. On the Saturdays of April 24th and May 1st from 11:00 am – 6:30 pm, this space will be open to the public, free of charge, for various dance classes, demonstrations and small performances. Come watch and learn tango, flamenco, irish, playful partner dancing, modern dance, baroque dancing, salsa, parent & tot, and even learn more about the Feldenkrais method of movement therapy!

Instruction and demonstration will be taught by the finest local Seattle artists such as Anna Mansbridge from Seattle Early Dance; Rubina Carmona from Carmona Flamenco; Linda Townsend, Don Morgan and Walter Dill from Northwest Dance Network; and Michelle Badion from Tango42. This dancing extravaganza will be fun, casual, and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about dancing in the Seattle community.
