" Meet the Author - Susan Patron"
This year the 2007 Newbery Award, the academy award of children´s literature, was given to Susan Patron for her new book "The Higher Power of Lucky." A national controversy followed, due to one word on page one of the book. This event is co-sponsored by the Secret Garden Bookshop. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
